Day2 - Only Vegetables.
"You can have one large boiled potato for breakfast"said the GM diet plan. This was a big relief bcoz i love boiled potatoes..and they go far better with tea then guavas..sprinkled chaat masala generously on the potato and finished it pretty fast.
During the day, I had tomatoes and cucumbers whenever i felt hungry. By evening, i got tired of both of them. I started browsing the net for salad reciepies. To start with, I shredded one full cabbage and broke the spinach leaves with hand like a pro (the way they do it on "Nigella's kitchen").Then topped it with a capful of vinegar and salt and voila! My salad was ready. It was looking really appealing..i was damn hungry and hurried one big spoon into my mouth. To be frank, i wasnt very impressed with my work.Actually i was depressed.. :( Jus to add a lil flavour i added 2-3..actually 4-5 drops of olive oil. But it dint really help. I guess only italians knw how to use olive oil. We shud stick to our high fat sunflower/groundnut oils. Finally, our very own "Chaat masala" came to rescue. With 3 big spoons of chaat masala, i forced as much as now, not-so-appealing salad in my mouth as i could and started to throw rest of it to the dustbin. Jus before that, i packed it in black plastic bags...i did not want Nitin to knw that i wasnt good at salads(also).
On dinner table, I promised myself a large chicken mexican redwave as i served garam garam phulkas and chana curry to Nitin...
P.S: While sleeping, i felt atleast 2 kgs lighter...
